    Does low body temp=thyroid problems?

I would like to know if low body temp (96.3-97.5) is considered a thyroid problem and if it warrents a doctors visit. I don't get alot of excercise and my diet is nothing to write home about. It's hard to change a bad habit, but, I'm trying.

It isn't likely that low temp by itself indicates thyroid trouble. Because the thyroid gland influences every single body system in some way, there are literally dozens of symptoms that can appear whenever it doesn't make enough hormone. Low temp is only one of the dozens.
Poor diet and inactivity can cause low temp, too.

If the body temp was fairly consistently low, I would say it was worth checking in to. One or two low temps is not going to really warrant concern. Temps fluctuate all the time particularly if you take your temp when first waking.

When your hypo, you usually know it...being cold is the best of the crummy symptoms usually with hypoT. If it is of concern, a simple blood test could get you on your way as part of a normal checkup.

    heh, I'm so lucky..

I'm hypo and have severe TMJ! Yes!

... really, I can hardly contain my excitement here.

though, if I could get one of the two under control, I might be able to cope a little better.
