I think it ranges from $ 185.00 to 250.00 that is what they billed my insurance.
You can call different offices and ask.

    Re: endocrinologist cost

Is that for a follow up visit ?
I think the first time visit costs more.

    Re: endocrinologist cost

I live in the Southeastern US and I've been to two endos.

I have no insurance and pay cash. The initial visit is always more, of course. I think mine ranged from $100-$125.

After that, it goes down. My first endo was charging me $45 a visit. Then I kinda went nuts on him because I felt he wasn't doing his job, so he dropped it down to $35.

Then, after realizing he wasn't working for me, I went to a highly recommended endo. He charges around $70 a visit, however, his office has an internal blood lab. It's a subcontracted mini-lab of one of the bigger ones and they offer cash discounts. SUBSTANTIAL cash discounts.

For example, if I went to get a thyroid antibody test (which ever one), a lab would charge any where from $250-$400 dollars. My endo did it for $20. Yes. I had a glucose tolerance test done for about $30. I didn't realize offices did this.

If you can, find an endo with a subcontracted blood lab. You won't be sorry. Or maybe this is rare. I dunno. I'm loving it, though.

    Re: endocrinologist cost

I have seen 3 Endo's.........first visit for 2 of them was $490. The other one was $275. I have Blue Shield of California even though I do not live in California.......... they pay well and I have a small co pay and then a deductable. Endo's are very expensive.............only 1 out of 3 was worth it. Good luck..........Oleander
