Another quick question

As I read these boards, it looks like endos treat hypo people. After my tt in june this year, my endo saw me a week later and then immediately dismissed me. He said my regular doctor can take care of me now. (The same one that took four monthes to figure out I had graves and finally referred me to the endo.) There are only two endos in my town and the other one is so busy, it takes months to get into see her. So now I am going to my regular doctor who refuses to test my ft4 and he lowers my dose of synthroid right away. Anyway, here is my question...Can regular g.p. doctors treat hypo people? I am assuming I am hypo now without a thryoid, but my tests say other wise...tsh .10 (.50-5.0 range). I am confused by this whole thyroid buisness. I understood hyper real well...sicker than a dog. But this hypo isnt a walk in the park either. I still feel panicy at times, but my hands dont shake and my heart is back to normal rythem. Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cool Re: Another quick question

You could also try a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, the one with the D.O. after their name. Some people have good luck with them.

Personally, I find endo's to be more NUMBERS kind of people rather than going on how you feel
