How would crappy thyroid function affect routine tests during pg....

Ok I just want to make this point clear so there isn't confusion I AM NOT PG NOW,...but I had some funky things come up in previous pgs. You know those blood tests they give for screening for downs syndrome...I think it's included in the "quad screen"? Mine (in more than 1 pg) came back high risk of downs. I'm talking like 1 in 41 or something. Now I went on to have the amnio with the pgs, and things were fine. If it had not been for the funky blood test, there wasn't a high age was not a concern or anything. My OB had said to have one test come out high risk and be ok with an amnio can happen, but for a woman to have more than one like that is rare.

I received a copy of my tsh from when I went for my new ob appt with my last pg. That is all he tests for thyroid function...TSH! tsh at the time was 3.32. Knowing what I know now, I had a lot of symptoms of hypothyroidism prior to that pg. I was tired all the time, had been running back and forth to docs for dry eye (got all different kinds of dx for that...allergies, pink eye, etc), and had horribly dry skin.

My question is this...if I do have T4 to T3 conversion issues, I am wondering if it could have had an affect on the quad screen.
