My anxiety is increased after lifting weights!

After lifting weights in the gym, I feel jittery and nervous and have some bouts of derealization for 24-72 hours after lifting!

This does NOT happen if I do cardio work.

There has got to be something going on here...

I've had blood work done twice and I'm almost positive my thyroid was checked both times. I've had a couple of EKG's and an echocardiogram. What could be the issue here?

This all started 9 months ago after I had a panic attack after a night of recreational drug use. Needless to say, I havent touched a drug since but the working out problem still remains. I also can't sleep unless I take .75mg of my prescribed xanax every night before bed.
