    Taking thyroid meds and painkillers

I'm currently taking .88mcg of Levoxyl. I understand about taking it on an empty stomach and waiting at least 4 hours before taking my vitamins. Right now, I've been waking up at 3:30am to take it, then fall back asleep (yes, I can do this) for another hour before waking up at 4:40pm. It's usually about 5am before I get around to having breakfast, and this is when I take 50mg of Tramadol for chronic back pain. I need to take it with food, otherwise it makes me nauseous. Is there any evidence out there, that taking a synthetic opiate, like Tramadol, would decrease my body's absorption of the T4 med? Or are there any other contraindictions of taking these 2 meds about an hour apart?
