Or it could be the result of problems with your cervical spine.

Too many things could cause it....it's best to check it out with your doctor.

Carpel tunnel is easy to rule out. The little finger should not feel numb etc. Have you been doing a lot of work with your hands, especially the left one?

I developed carpel tunnel from riding in a RV on a long trip. The arm rests were shorter than normal so my wrist was not supported plus I did used my hands a lot in packing for the trip.

My Dr. did two manual tests to confirm that I had carpel tunnel. It took six months to return to normal because I let it go for so long.

The good news is that all I had to do was buy a plain brace for the hand at Walamart. I felt immediate relief. In addition, I had to rest my my hands & only do limited work with them. Fam

I have also had the numbness and tingling in both hands. I am hyperthyroid-Graves Disease. I have had the radioactive iodine therapy a few weeks ago. Anyway, I was told that those symptoms could be caused by the anxiety from the thyroid problem or the thyroid problem itself. I have not had those symptoms recently though.

Carpal tunnel syndrome and peripheral neuropathy are both associated with thyroid disorders. My neuropathy started as buring pain in the soles of my feet, then also in the palms of my hands. Warm weather makes it worse. At times I've had to stick my feet in ice water for relief. I have also had the numbness and tingling in arms and legs.

Are you taking Carbimazole for your thyroid? This is one of the side effects of this medication. Sera.
