If dose is too high will it show in 6 weeks?

Or can it sometimes take longer to go hyper?

I went hyper back in December and slowly building back up again. I went hyper after 3 months on a dose, so my dr. said it was a silent thyroiditis.

Just wondering if it could have been from the dose at that time, or since my bloodwork was ok at 6 weeks, then it definately wasn't the meds.

    Thanks

It can take a bit longer for HyperT symptoms to appear (learned from experience ) - possible other issues (absorption, antibodies) can be a factor too.

Thanks, for the reply. So, I guess there's no way to be sure if it was the dose or not? I'm still a couple of weeks away from bloodwork.

So saying my bloodwork is "normal" when should I be retested to make sure I don't go hyper or hypo for that matter, again?

If your labs are fine (BTW my FT3 was clearly on the hyperT side but didn't notice symptoms until a while after I had had my labs taken ) and there's no sign of Hypo or HyperT there's no hurry to have your labs checked again. If things change and symptoms appear that's another matter.
