Confused about my Thyroid results - Hyperthyroid?

Hi there. Hoping for a bit of enlightenment or guidance, In January, February I had the very obvious hyperthyroid symptoms like heart palps, bad hand tremors, difficulty sleeping, headaches, fatigue etc but had put on weight. Blood tests back then came back normal as did an ultrasound scan of my thyroid. By April I was very sick, fast forward to May and in and out of hospital, tested and scanned for everything under the sun and the only diagnosis was a positive set of bloods and endoscopy for Celiac (that was a complete shock, very unexpected). My thyroid blood results are:

17th April:
T4 (free): 15.9 (12.8-20.4)
T3 (free): 5.3 (4-6.8)
TSH: 0.28 (0.4-3.8)

8th June:
T4: 23.6
T3: 7.2
TSH: <0.05
The endocrinologist and my doctor said those results are not abnormal enough to treat. My recent bloods have been much the same as the June one. My antibody test and radioactive scan apparently came back normal so the doctors won't do anything even though I am very unwell. I always thought I was more hypothyroid until these results after surgery and steroids at the end of last year. Any thoughts anyone? Life is pretty miserable on the health front. I am very frustrated.
