Question Very high ft4, low ft3, normal tsh -- help

I had my thyroid removed five years ago and have been on synthroid ever since. My T4 and FT4 have ALWAYS been high, but recently I noticed that my T3 and FT3 are below normal. My TSH, no matter how high the T4 got, remained unsuppressed. I am very concerned that my synthroid (as T4) is not being converted enough into T3. My endocrinologist and others I've gone to have said nothing. During these years, I've been extraordinarily tired, and have had rapid bone loss. I do not know if these are related, but does anyone know why FT4 would be very high and not be converted to T3? Does anyone have advise on what to do about it?

I also, as someone posted a while back, have orthostatic intolerance, for me a rapid heart beat upon standing which began about two years ago. That poster talked about cortisol levels. With the one test I was given, my cortisol was normal.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, since the endos are just not certain what to do and tend to ignore the whole thing.
