    thyroglobulin antibodies >3000?

Hi, I'm new here. I've been taking synthroid and cytomel now for at least 5 years. I am 41. I have recently moved and have found a new doctor that just tested for all kinds of things. Everything was in normal range except my thyroid antibodies. Does anyone know what it means to have thryoglobulin antibodies show up as higher than 3000? Thanks in advance.

Nice healthy immune system you got there. Too bad it's got your thyroid in it's sights.

I'm guessing you have Hashimoto's Disease which is why you're on synthroid. High thryoglobulin antibodies are totally expected when you have autoimmune thyroid disease so nothing to worry over.
