Hypothyroid and heat intolerance, plus IBS

I should probably have put that I'm unable to tolerate ANY extreme temps. When the temps are above 75, and below 55, (though depending on if we're coming out of winter), I am miserable!! Just saw a closed thread about this same discussion, and was glad to see I'm not alone! I've known I'm hypothyroid for about 6.5 years now. Around the same time I had my hysterectomy too. Since around the time of both, (a few years before too), I've hated extreme temps! My body doesn't seem to know how to regulate my temps anymore! I drive my poor husband nutts. It's like 84* here today, and I'm miserable! If I'm outside even a few minutes, I feel completely listless and feel the immediate need to sleep. Is there anything I can do about this? I know I need to lose a lot of weight, but I also have IBS and have trouble getting to the gym everyday when I'm so tired. And when I have IBS problems, that causes me to feel weak too. I'm so tired of feeling tired. Oh, and did I mention, at night I'm a bit of an insomniac. Yeah, fun, I know. Need to go to see my GP, guess I need to see if he can say anything to help besides, try taking these pills.
