    Elevated T4 Total Question

Hi Everyone. I have a question. I had some labs drawn and my tsh, t3,t3 free, t4 free came back normal except for my t4 total it was slightly elevated. My doctor said it was nothing to worry about because with my tsh being normal it meant there wasn't a thyroid problem. She said my tsh would have to be off too for it to mean a thyroid issue. Is she correct?

I get palpitations, hair loss, creepy crawling bugs on me sensations, gritty eyes, major panic attacks, food cravings *especially sweets*, ridged dry breaking nails, and tons of other thyroid out of whack symptoms

    I'm so frustrated.

    TSH 1.47 uIU/mL (0.35-5.50)
    T3, FREE 3.3 pg/mL (2.3-4.2)
    T3, TOTAL 173 ng/dL (76-181)
    T4, Free 1.3 ng/dL (0.9-1.8)
    T4 (THYROXINE), TOTAL 14.9 mcg/dL (4.5-12.0)
