Unhappy TMD Causing Facial Asymmetry?

Hey there

I have been dealing with some jaw issues over the past few years. I am 25 years old and was dealing with a lot of stress in 2015. I started having panic attacks and clenching/grinding my teeth at night. I noticed some discomfort but the issues seemed to go away after I dealt with the stress.

Fast forward a few years (2017), I started getting weird headaches. I guess you would call them tension headaches. My jaw hadn't bothered me for a while and I wasn't particularly stressed out. The headaches would come and go, but then I developed what I thought was an ear infection. My left ear bothered me and felt full all the time, my sinuses were acting up, and my jaw started aching on the left side pretty constantly. I've tried chiropractic, myofacial release, botox, acupuncture, and all of them seemed to help a bit. The pain is really only ever a 3 out of 10 now? Maybe a little bit worse at times.

My main complaint is the facial asymmetry that I've developed over the past year. It feels very noticeable and is really effecting my self confidence. I know part of it is probably mental, but it's causing me to become reclusive and depressed.

I'm wondering if this seems like a common issue to develop over the course of a year at my age. Has anyone experienced this kind of asymmetry because of TMD? Could I have something else going on with my jaw?

I am in the middle of a cross country move and plan to see a specialist once I get established in my new home within the next few months. Just trying to get an idea of whats going on with my face. I appreciate any input!
