Neck pain
Shoulder pain
Ear pain(like someone is using a ice pick)
Pain behind eyes(Eye feels like it is going to pop out)
Pounding, Pulsating, Puking headaches
Weight loss
Jaw Deviation

Doctor said the headaches caused from TMJ are worse than migraines, which is why migraine meds don't help. I have tried several different types and throw up right through them.

I agree with you concerning the headaches. I had my Son at a 'headache lab' if you want to call it that at the hospital for the better part of the drugs touch these headaches.

Mighty expensive pills too. I think imitrex is somewhere around $10.00 a pill. I tried the nasal spray, along with several other different migraine aborters but nothing worked. I finally decided I had to let the headaches run their course as nothing was going to stop them. It was/is nothing for me to throw up for six hours or more when I get a bad one. I feel sorry for you son, being so young and dealing with this $$$$....
Take care,

Imitrex is a waste for these headaches. They gave us a handful to try to see if they such luck. Unfortunately, these headaches don't seem to come and go for him...they've been pretty much constant since this all began. They did try various drugs however at this headache clinic...nothing.

I understand you're in limbo with these implants due to no insurance. Are there any other surgeons willing to remove these horrendous things for you, without cash in hand?

Funny, 'they' make a mistake, and expect you to sit around waiting to gather enough $$$ to fix it. Nothing surprises me anymore about the medical/dental profession. I hope that you're hanging in there.
Take Care,
