Two broken NTIs......any hope?

I just found this site and am thrilled about it. I have had two NTI mouth pieces in the past 2 months and broken both of them in my sleep. My doc is suprised, but tells me I won't break the new retainer-thing being made for me. Has anyone else broken ntis on a repeated basis? Found anything better that worked?

Re: Two broken NTIs......any hope?

Sounds like you are clenching really hard at night? If so, consider some sort of relaxant, like perhaps an herbal such as chamomile, or valerian, or you could get a prescription muscle relaxant.

Also consider stress reduction before bed.
