Hi everyone just wondered what your ear pain was like and is it constant once it starts during the day?

Re: ear pain

I have trobbing and humming in my ears pretty constant. Very annoying and I wonder if that means your joint is sitting too low or too high. I wonder if it's because of lack of verticle dimension. What is you problem as far as tmj goes- muscular? Poor bite?
I think we should be able to figure this out, I think my dentist is opening up my bite too much and has me back teeth not touching and I feel worst with the ear problems.

Yes my ears pop and feel full and I get trobbing around them and they hum. I just got back from a splint adjustment- I guess I need to go back on my 2 times a week splint adjustment. It's worst for a few hours after the adjustment because they do around 15-25 bite adjustments- where you have to bite down. I also have the neck pain and the temporal trobbing. Have you been wearing a splint?

Re: ear pain

sometimes the fullness is so bad I can hardly hear! I also get pressure in my sinuses along with it.
I get almost evey symptom listed on this site at one time or another. My biggest problems (besides the pain) is dizziness, ear pain, stiffness and pain in my neck and shoulders.
They thought it was my allergies for a long time. I've been on and off meds all year.
After I started wearing my spint, the other symptoms started subsiding and my ear pain got worse.
Do you wear a splint?
