Burning pain in Jaw :-( OUCH!!!!!!!!!

For the last 2 days I have had a burning like pain in my lower rightside of jaw with the upper & lower teeth hurting like crazy. The pain was that bad I went to the emergency dentist yesterday, to be told he couldn't see anything wrong other than the back teeth being heavily filled.

The pain is like a burning sensation in the jaw just below my ear. I have found that if I massage the muscle which is an inch in front of the ear (I think it's called the masseter muscle) it relieves it to a bareable pain.

Does this sound like teeth problems or could it be through clenching my teeth/poor posture. Painkillers don't seem to have any effect. Is this the sort of pain you get with TMD or should I get a 2nd opinion.

Thank you in advance
