TMJ and head jolts?

Are head jolts every associated with TMJ? By that, I mean weird electrical sensations in the head...hard to describe. I was concerned about them so got an MRI but it was clear on the brain thankfully tho I have recently been diagnosed with TMJ and a pinched nerve....there was a slight herniation in one of the C nerves.

Thanks and have a good weekend,

Re: TMJ and head jolts?

Those head jolts may not be due to tmj but the pinched nerve caused by the herniated disc. Nerves that are compressed can and do emit electrical shocks or signals even if they are only misfiring as a result of being "pinched".
