New-ish to TMJ, please read

I think I have recurring TMJ symptoms. Left side teeth will start hurting for no reason. Left ear hurts as well. Sometimes this pain will go down towards the side of my neck. My first ever symptom was bruxism at night which I've had for about 2 years (I've only been wearing the mouth guards for about 1/2 a year though). The most annoying part of it all is that sometimes I go to bite a peice of food and my teeth will sort of smash up against each other unnaturally, instead of landing nicely on the piece of food. This sounds like TMJ, right?
