    any singing tmj sufferers?
    I have auditioned for music school and am waiting for the responses (i at least know I got into one school!). I'm also in two opera classes and 3 choirs - I do a lot of singing. I was wondering if there are any other serious singers who have battled tmj? I have learned trigger points from my massage therapist and chiropractor, and tried acupuncture. Both of these help some, but after the acupuncture it gets aggravated really quickly again if I sing. How do others cope?

    Dear friend: I used to sing and direct choirs, but my TMJ is so severe I can no longer sing at all! To say the least, this is heartbreaking--hopefully, you'll be in fine voice for yrs to come. God bless, Al
