    A spot of tea?

This herbal potion doesn't cure cancer, improve your golf game or do away with HMO's(too bad!). However, when I started using,or should I say drinking Chamomile tea, what a big help. It soothes your stomach and is a mild sedative...Sometimes it's the little things that help you thru the day. And that's the end of Al's traveling medicine show! Al

i like that.maybe it will relax my current recurring condition.
    i prefer decaf regular though.
    thanks for the thought!!!!!!!
how nice to have someone bring a holistic type remedy !
If only we could all think "natural" when faced w/ "real" health issues.
    thanks much.

    Al,
Little things help you through the day, true story. Here is a little chuckle for you.

Two doctors and a HMO manager died and lined up at the pearly gates for admission to heaven. St. Peter asked them to identify themselves.
One doctor stepped forward and said, " I was a pediatric spine surgeon and helped kids overcome their deformities. " St. Peter said, " You may enter."
The second doctor said, " I was a psychiatrist. I helped people rehabilitate themselves." St. Peter invited him into heaven, too.
The third applicant stepped forward and said, " I was an HMO manager. I helped people get cost-effective health care." St. Peter said, " You can come in also."
But as the HMO manager walked by, St. Peter added, "You may stay for three days. After that you can go to hell!!!"

I hope some of the HMO's read this, maybe they will help us out a little more when they realize how little they do for us!!!
    Take care,
    Elaine

Hi Allen...I just wanted to remind everyone that while herbal remedies can be useful, you need to be careful. If you have immune disorders, as I know many of us do, certain immune boosting herbs can speed up the rate that your body destroys itself. So those with Lupus, FM, Sjogrens and Rheumatoid Arthritis(among others)should avoid them. Also, some herbs can interfere with your prescription meds. Check with your doc before starting them. Take care <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">
