Amitryptaline Broke Muscle Spasms

Hi Everyone,

Almost a month ago I went to see another face doc out of desperation. I have made the rounds for help here in Nashville. After a thorough evaluation he told me my problem was muscular.

What I took for 2 1/2 weeks was Amitryptaline, a low dose of 30mg before bed. This was really hard as I was mired in brain fog. The muscle spasm broke.

By using trigger point massage on myself when a muscle flares up the pain or discomfort diminishes. My masseters are riddled with trigger points so I am doing daily intraoral massaging.

This is such a big deal. It looks like I am getting my life back.

I am going through withdrawals. In a couple of days I need to get back to work full steam, hopefully I can.

The Amitryptaline is a nasty drug. I have come off that as well as Valium. I am down to two Tramadol per day. When my body stabilizes I will go down to one for a couple of weeks at least before I am all the way off.

Getting a DVD course on trigger point release as well as working with a cranial sacral therapist has really helped tremendously.

I have my fingers crossed. But my outcome here looks very promising.

My Best to All
