I was diagnosed with TMJ a few weeks back.
I've also been diagnosed with Dissociation disorder
I also suffer severe anxiety and depression

I have had blood tests EKG'S and I'm awaiting MRI results.
I've been suffering for 7 months and I'm pretty much bed bound I can't have treatment until my teeth are fixed which I need 1000 pounds for that I simply do not have, I am worried my TMJ is not the route of my problems my doctors are at a dead end with me and just say it is my anxiety and TMJ.

I suffer from depersonalization/derealization, anxiety and TMJD. It seems we have many similar symptoms - I regularly experience all of these you have mentioned above. You do not suffer alone!

Re: Are my symptoms my TMJ or is something else linked?

I'm experiencing a lot of similar problems: disequilibrium (I feel like I'm on a boat all the time), ear pressure/fullness, foggy head, ear pain, jaw pain/tightness, tight burning neck muscles, on and off blurred vision+. I started with an eye exam, then an ENT, then a neurologist, then a neck dr and now a TMJ specialist. TMJ due to muscle spasm was the diagnosis for my symptoms. I have worn Invisalign braces for past two years and suspect they may have contributed. I've had CTs, MRI etc. and all show normal. Bottom line, I believe all your symptoms could be due to TMJ. I only wish I knew what to tell you to do. Unfortunately I'm in the same predicament and looking for answers. Ice on my jaw for 10 mins, then 30 mins off , then repeat all day, provides relief for me and a little respite from the pain and awful constant dizziness.
