Robitussin and/or Evening Primrose Oil...dangerous?

Robitussin works differently to epo. Robitussin thins out what cm you already make, epo helps the body make MORE cm. Robitussin doesnt make more just thins out what you do have.

As for after ovulation if you want to still take oils you should switch from epo to flax seed oil. EPO should only be taken from AF to O.

Hiya...

I started taking evening primrose oil and noticed the very next time I ovulated that there was an abundance of clear cm which I normally found hard to spot. That month I got pg and this was after trying for nearly 18months.

I stopped taking EPO when I started getting symptoms a few days before AF was due.

Thanks for the information! I am going to pick up some evening primrose oil next cycle! It's funny, because for years I've heard from my mother and grandmother how evening primrose is a cure-all, but I never thought of using it to help with trying to conceive. My grandmother said it helped her through menopause and my mother swears it is keeping her young. Thanks everyone! Great information! Sherbet, I hope I have the same kind of luck you did!

Hi Sherbert

Could you let us know how much EPO you took each day? I have 1000mg capsules but the dosage on the side of the bottle is quite vague - what did you do?

I take 3000mg of epo a day.
