Talking Re: temp question

hi there, not sure I can be of much help, even though your temp is naturally high, you should still see a peak in temperature on or right after ovulation. Also, everyone is different so there isn't an exact temp for each person that is the same that says you are ovulating

Re: temp question

Yes you can still chart, make sure when you are taking your temp for charting that you use a BASIL BODY THERMOMETER. Not a regular one you use for fevers!

Re: temp question

Hi. Try to take your temp at the same time before you get out of bed, that is very important. You can ******** a chart of various websites to enter your temps on. Whenever you see a rise in temps for 3 straight days then that confirms that you ovulated. Your temps will stay up until you confirm that you are pregnant or until AF comes. My temp drops the day that AF comes so I always know when to expect it. The book taking charge of your fertility goes into this a great deal and is a wonderful resource to use about charting. Good luck.

Re: temp question

muna you're not alone with the high temps. My temps run between 97.7-98.2 in my follicular phase and between 98.5 and 99.1 for my luteal phase, which is higher than most people (at least from what I've heard and read). I have read that high temps can sometimes occur in people with hyperthyroidism, but I tested negative--so it doesn't necessarily mean you have a problem. However, if you find you have problems conceiving, you might want to look into it.

Re: temp question

No, but I'm seeing the Dr. again this month. However, I doubt it's infections causing my high temps, as I've had high temps since I started charting, 7 months ago or so--so if it were an infection, by now I'd probably be dead, LOL!! So I doubt it. But i know infections can cause that for a short time, like when you have the flu or a cold (viral infection).
