can AF show up later than 2 weeks after ovulation?

I heard that when your period is late that means you ovulated late. I heard that AF always shows up two weeks after you ovulate. I am wondering if it is possible to ovulate and still have af show up later than 2 weeks. I am due for AF tomorrow and I know I ovulated exactly two weeks prior because of using opks. If Af doesn't show up tomorrow or wednesday I am wondering if I should really expect that I am pregnant. I was thinking of testing on Thursday if Af doesn't show by then. Is this a good plan?

Re: can AF show up later than 2 weeks after ovulation?

Most women have a luteal phase 10 to 16 days long and it is a fixed amount. So if you know last month it was 14 days after ovulation then that is your magic number! So I would test on Wednesday the day after your AF is due.

Good luck!
