Red face Chewing instead of swallowing= pregnant?

I started to chew down my Microgynon 30 Pill at around day 15 of my cycle, because I found it to give less side effects (tender breasts etc.), I then had sex on days 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30 of my cycle (I hadn't yet come on my period). Day 31 I came come on my period, but it is lighter than usual. I am also very emotional at the moment. I am now concerned that I could be pregnant...but am I just being paranoid and is it safe to bite the Pill down, instead of swallowing it?

I'd say if you think it's a period that you got, you're probably not pregnant (whether it was lighter than usual, or not). If you're still not sure, take a home pregnancy test, and that should ease your mind.
As far as chewing it, I'm no doctor, but maybe the reason that it seemed to give you less side affects was because you weren't ingesting the entire thing? It's pretty small, so I imagine some of it would get stuck in your teeth, etc.. I don't know, I would just swallow as your supposed to, just to be on the safe side. Good luck!
