Post Fertility

Dear all, i am new to this site and my partner and i have been trying for a baby for 19 months. We have both had tests and the doctors cannot find anything physically wrong. I am 36 and slightly overweight, i've been on a diet for the past 7 wks, i have also given up alcohol completely and exercise every day. Is anyone having similar issues or maybe suggest anything else i can try? It feels as if whatever i do is just not good enough

Re: Fertility

Have you tried the ovulation detector kits? I just bought the clearblue kind, they look super easy to use. All my pregnant girlfriends swear by them. You could also chart your temps and check your cm changes. Maybe check into getting "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." I hear it's good. Good luck! Hang in there!

Re: Fertility

I have heard that dieting while ttc is not a good idea. Dieting as far as eating healthier is fine though. Exercise'n is a great idea as long as ur not over doing it. Cardio 3 times a week is probably good. Do you o regularly? Is ur cm good at that time? My cm has'nt been good for a while so i bought pre-seed to try it. We've only used it once though, cause i used to much and he did'nt like it, so only use a little. Oh yeah take vitamins. I got Women one a day. pre-natal. I feel better since taking them. And i have my Hubby taking Centrum. Opk's seem to work for a lot of people, just don't buy the cheap ones. Cause either i'm not o'n or they don't work. What all tests have they done for you? I've had Thyroid, prolactin, gluclose and culture for bv. Had bv so doc gave me meds. Finished them today. Just keep trackin and try'n. Good luck!
