spotting two weeks after period.

hey ladies,

i am smack dead in between my periods and i started spotting a brownish discharge today accompanied by mild cramps on my right side into the right side of my back. this is out of the ordinary for my body!! i usually have my periods once a month for approx 5days...
the last time i had intercourse was two days ago and the time before that was before my last period.....anyways does this sound familiar to anyone??

i was thinking it might be ovulation and if it is, is there still a chance i could get pregnant from the sperm two days ago?? i know sperm can live in the female body for up to five or six days but what might the spotting indicate?? the end of ovulation the beginning? *sigh*

thanks in advance!
