| Chronic UTI for past 6 months
Until this past April, I hadn't had a UTI since I was a child. After 20+ years without one and no change in my health or lifestyle, I got one and I have been having them every month or two since, which (with antibotics) has lead to a *fun* cycle of UTIs and yeast infections. I never even had a yeast infection until I was 27 (and never figured out why/how THAT happened), and after a chronic problem for 3 years had *finally* beaten that aggravation and thought it was squarely in the rear-view mirror until this new UTI problem brought it back. I have taken Nitrofurantion mono-mcr 100 mg, which so far seems effective at the time. I just don't know why these UTIs keep coming back.
