Slight burning in Urethra when but apparently no UTI
For the last couple of months I have had a slight burning in my urethra. Not so much when urinating but more so when ejaculating. I went to a Urologist who after some tests said I did not have a UTI. He said my PSA is normal for my age (late 50s) although I do have BPE. He also did the flow test and said it suggested a weaker flow than it should be with a plateau rather than a bell. In any case, I don't know how an enlarged prostate can cause burning in the urethra. I have had mild genital herpes since I was in my twenties, but now get only one or two very mild outbreaks per year. Does anyone have any clue as to what this mystery burning might be? The Urologist is stumped. Thanks for any suggestions.
