Retrograde ejaculation

Im a 40 year old male and i have never ejaculated. This is an issue i have always had. I have never had surgery or injury or diabetes. I do reach an orgasm but there is never any fluid expelled as a result. (I suspect orgasm would be stronger if there was actual evacuation). Over 15 years ago my wife and i had started to look into this, and we were forced to stop due to medical bills. It was determined that i do have retrograde ejaculation, and there was not an obstruction.
Now all these years later it still bothers me (probably mostly physiological). Having kids is not an issue, as we adopted 3 girls, and my wife hd a hysterectomy last year.
Anyway, is there any one here who suffers with this issue? Is there any point of seeing a doctor? Have any new treatments been developed? Thanks

Re: Retrograde ejaculation

Hi. I have this conditions after my TURP. I do not know about others but I find this "practical" to some extent and absolutely not impacting the quality of my orgasm. Of course should I have had physiological problems and intention to have kids I would have consulted but really it is not bothering neither me nor my wife.

I am very curios to know which medications were prescribed in your case.

Re: Retrograde ejaculation

Hi there I'm a 51 year old that has had a bladder neck incision and a Turp due to very poor flow rate and spending ages emptying my bladder. Having listened to the Urologist and weighing up the pros and cons I decided to have the procedure.

After the operation I drank plenty of fluids and was going to the toilet regularly. Slightly uncomfortable when going but nothing that's too bad.

I was told 70% of men have retrograde ejaculation but for whatever reason I was able to ejaculate normally which was amazing. The orgasm wasn't as intense but still pleasurable so for me clearly I'm the lucky one. Whether this will continue I don't know but so far so good.

Re: Retrograde ejaculation

Amazing indeed and great result. Do you mind sharing more details on the type of TURP you had, e.g. monopolar, dipolar, laser ...?
