    Right Side Groin Pain

For the past three weeks I have been having some pain in my groin. It started in my right testical and was very uncomfortable. it has now radiated upwards in my upper groin as well. I had a scrotal ultrasound that came norman other than a 3.4mm epidydimal cyst. Almost a week ago my urine test came back with a few high results.

    Appearance was H Cloudy
    WBC 3-5 H
    Bacteria Few H
    Mucus, Urine Small H
    Amorphous Crystal's, Many H

The pain is dull, and now runs from the upper right groin to the right testical. My lymph nodes have been swelling and subsiding off and on behind both ears, but primarily the right ear.

Not sure if this is related to not, but I also get random boils that will appear on my legs or arms. Two years ago I had about 6 of them over several months. One would appear on a leg or arm and I would have it removed and cultured and one would appear on another limb. Test was always negative, and the dr and specialist could not diagnose anything. I went 18 months with none, and just a few weeks ago one appeared on my left leg again.

Any help would be appreciated. The pain is bordering on unbearable. I am taking Alieve to help with pain.

Boils would include infection....if yours were removed and didnt show infection, then I would think something else is going on. Are you having other health issues?
Have you had full panel blood testing done to delve deeper into other possibilities?

I've had my labs done yearly. In October this year there were only two labs that were not normal.

Vitamin D was low at 20.2.

Immature Granulocyte # (auto) was high .03

No other standard yearly labs were abnormal and have not been for the past couple of years.

I haven't had any other health problems. My lower back has been sore, but I was chalking that up to being 40. I feel pretty healthy other than the groin pain and occasional boil.

Hi...have you only seen your GP or have you seen a specialist. If so, what specialist?

Do you have a copy of the pathology of the boils, and did the doctor call them that?

Maybe it's time to push for further imaging such as CT of that area?

    Re: Right Side Groin Pain

Thank you for your reply. I don't have a copy of the results from the specialist, but she said the tests all came back normal. She was a Rheumatologist. It was very frustrating dealing with my primary and the specialist. They did call them boils. I finally just quit going to the doctor and they went away. I just recently had one come back, and the testicle/groin pain started. I also mentioned to them that my lymph nodes have been swollen on and off for years. It frequently comes and goes. They dismissed it and said that could be normal. The specialist said I most likely have an autoimmune disease, but did not know what?? She said it's probably triggered by stress or some other factors.

    Re: Right Side Groin Pain

I suggest you request a copy of your pathology, because the wording will help with research and give you more insight rather than a general response of "normal".
As well, ask to see another specialist. Especially since that rheumatologist called what you had a boil. They are always infection, however, what you had wasn't.... and then stated probable autoimmune without investigating further.
As well, brushing off swollen lymph glands (which says something is going on) seems remiss.
Do you have a copy of your blood tests?
