Thumbs down Recurring Urinary Tract Infection

My mom has a recurring UTI problem that has persisted for a few years. It is very common for her to fall critically sick every month or so due to the infection taking hold of her, until she takes the prescribed antibiotic after which it subsides immediately and she is perfectly fine and up and running.

in other conditions, she has diabetes and a gallstone. Despite numerous visits to different doctors and and treatment in hospital admissions, the UTI keeps recurring.

What could be the reason for this and how can she get rid of this infection permanently?
