Cloudy Urine... HELP!!!

Hey everyone,

I'm a healthy 18 year old with no history. I've been noticing that my urine is rather cloudy as of late. I am experiencing NO symptoms what so ever.

The only thing about me is that I'm pretty stressed out with college work, sleeping late at night, and stuff like that. Could that be it?

I've done some research and came across Phosphaturia. Should I be worried? Because from what I've read on other boards, people have the same problem as I do when they stress and such.

Thanks.

I should also add that the urine is just cloudy, and nothing else. I don't see anything floating around, nothing thick, no smell, no nothing.

Hey, I just wanted to say that having cloudy urine is perfectly normal. It usually indicates a high concentration of crystals....you probably have increased amounts of calcium oxalate, which you can easily get from some foods. But dont worry, cloudy urine is not bad.

Hey, I agree with the guy above, sounds like nothing to worry about.

One possibility, however, may be retrograde ejaculation which can cause your urine to become cloudy. This is where instead of the semen coming out of your penis through the urethra, the valve that allows it to come out remains shut, and it goes backwards into your bladder. It then comes out in your urine, which is the reason for the cloudy look.

If you ejaculate normally, I would guess this isn't a possibility. Saying that, I don't know if you can ejaculate normally AND have some semen go backwards into your bladder. Anyone here know any more?
