Women and Flomax

My urologist RX'd flomax for me yesterday and I am a woman. First question is: Is the pharmacist going to look at me cross-eyed? Also, since it's not FDA approved for women, does that mean, my insurance may not pay for it?

In January I received a bladder sling made out of tissue harvested from my abdomen. Doc suspects she got it too tight. Now I have a different kind of incontinenence. It takes me 4 or 5 tries to void completely. But when it's time, I'd better make it fast. I have to plan my whole day around what I drink WHEN.

Re: Women and Flomax

I'm also a female and my Dr prescribed this for me when I had kidney stones. He said it would loosen my urinary tract and make it easier for the stones to pass. I honestly don't think it helped all that much but my insurance did cover it.
