Re: Urethritis, Epididymitis-orchitis or Varicoceles?
First of all, I feel your pain. I too have had a long struggle with this TERRIBLE problem, epididymitis. It has caused me some serious depression. I have good news and bad news. I have had it for about 17 years, but reoccurring episodes will come on for a year or two, then not happen for a year or two. I went to multiple urologists who are all TOTALLY IMCOMPETENT when it comes to this issue. Yes, all the test will come out normal, and they tend to want to dismiss any problem that actually makes them use their brain and discover something new. All they can do is prescribe antibiotics to make it go away for a little while. BUT, I have found a solution that works for me. Throughout the years, I had noticed that it tended to come on after ejaculation. But what it took me a long time to realize is that the epididymitis only came on when I ejaculated after a long period of time of no ejaculation (like 3-5 days...yes, that's a long time, LOL). It seems that when the liquids are aloud to sit inside the epididymis for a period of time, that causes it. So, I started experimenting, and I found that if I ejaculate at least once per day, to keep the juices flowing though the epididymis, I don't have any episodes. I have been doing this for four years, and have not had a single episode. There could be worse treatments, but it can be frustrating knowing that you have to ejaculate when you really don't feel like it. But, as you know, it is so worth doing to avoid another TERRIBLE episode of epididymitis. So, I would recommend trying this. Do whatever you have to do...use pornography, whatever, because this disease can destroy your quality of life. I have not read any REAL solutions to this problem anywhere online, so I hope that my solution works for you.
