Urethral Stricture Surgery Recovery

I am going in to have a buccal mucosa graft surgery for my urethral stricture. Im 20 years old and had some questions from people with experience with this. 1)How painful is the graft area in the mouth after?
2)is the catheter very uncomfortable? (e.g comparable to a cystosocopy?)
3) my final question is probably the most important to me, is about when I can start exercising again. I do crossfit and want to get back to doing it as soon as I can. Ive read about the no heavy lifting for 2 weeks, but what I was wondering was when I could get back into more intense exercise. I obviously don't want to compromise any of the healing. Would it be best to start slow, at around 4 weeks with some light stretching, then incrementally week by week add more and more (e.g jogging, running, weights). At what point would you estimate I could go full throttle again?

any input would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Urethral Stricture Surgery Recovery

Good luck - my husband had this done and was out of commission for quite awhile. He was catheterized for over a week and after that took another few weeks to start feeling even remotely normal.
