    Epididymitis? Need solution!

I am a 32yr old male. About 11 months ago I woke up with pain in my right testicle. I went to several doctors and had several STD screens. Everything came back negative. I was told that sometime people just have testicle pain. Over the last 6 month I have narrowed my pain away from my testicle to above it. I have been given multiple treatments of antibiotic that seem to lessen the pain. The pain comes on in the morning while I am waking.

I have had an ultrasound as well as hernia check. I simply can not find a solution. I'm at a loss and very depressed over this! I need to find a solution. Is there another test I should have preformed. I did have a past partner tell me the had been exposed to chlamydia but all my test have been negative.

I really need some advice, I don't want to have to live with this for life. Any advice is greatly appreciated. My symptoms are right testicle pain while waking in the morning, sometimes it stays with me for the day. My left Testicle is also starting to ache every few days. My urologist is not saying much. I see another one next week. What should I ask for or do? Thank you.

    Re: Epididymitis? Need solution!

First of all, I feel your pain. I too have had a long struggle with this TERRIBLE problem, epididymitis. It has caused me some serious depression. I have good news and bad news. I have had it for about 17 years, but reoccurring episodes will come on for a year or two, then not happen for a year or two. I went to multiple urologists who are all totally incompetent when it comes to this issue. All they can do is prescribe antibiotics to make it go away for a little while. BUT, I have found a solution that works for me. Throughout the years, I had noticed that it tended to come on after ejaculation. But what it took me a long time to realize is that the epididymitis only came on when I ejaculated after a long period of time of no ejaculation (like 3-5 days...yes, that's a long time, LOL). It seems that when the liquids are aloud to sit inside the epididymis for a period of time, that causes it. So, I started experimenting, and I found that if I ejaculate at least once per day, to keep the juices flowing though the epididymis, I don't have any episodes. I have been doing this for four years, and have not had a single episode. There could be worse treatments, but it can be frustrating knowing that you have to ejaculate when you really don't feel like it. But, as you know, it is so worth doing to avoid another TERRIBLE episode of epididymitis. So, I would recommend trying this. Do whatever you have to do...use pornography, whatever, because this disease can destroy your quality of life. I have not read any REAL solutions to this problem anywhere online, so I hope that my solution works for you.
