Primal defense is some soil micro-organism type probiotics. I bought some when I ran out of my usual probiotics and bought the loose stuff, not in capsules. It is dirt. It is soil micro-organisms. It was disgusting. If you want to try it buy it in the capsule form cause drinking down some dirt in your water is no fun. I find the Garden of Life products are pretty pricey. That stuff was about $40 and it was a waste. I happen to think there are better pro-biotics out there.

The probitiotcs I like come from Japan. I used to use ThreeLac until I found Dr. Ohhira's. I find that taking too much probiotics will change your stools. I didn't find that with ThreeLac or the Primal Defense. It will happen to me with Dr. Ohhira's though. That change is a sign that the probiotics do work.
