Whats a good B Complex?

I think i am gonna start taking a B complex. How do i know the good ones from the cheap crap thats out there???

This one looks good to me (i use another product from the same company), but its rather expensive. Are there cheaper ones out there that are just as good quality? It would be great to hear your experiences with different brands.

the one i found is by Genesis Today called 4Energy.

Re: Whats a good B Complex?

Snix...... most are basically the same ingrediants wise so i'd look for one that has at least 25 mg's of all the B's and secondly usually the capsules are better than tablets........

Re: Whats a good B Complex?

I take "Sublingual B Total" Liquid B-Vitamin Supplement via under the tounge--by liquid dropper. I let it sit under my tounge for 30 minutes. It's equvilent to getting the shot/injection. The supplement will go directly into the blood stream and you can feel the difference. You might feel a little hot and flushed, but it only last a minute or 2.

Each 1 dropper (1.0 cc) dose contains:

Vitamin B-2 (Riboflavon) - 1.7 mg
Vitamin B-3 (Niacin) - 20 mg
Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine HC1) - 2 mg
Vitamin B-12 (Cyanocobalamin) - 1,000 mcg
Pantothenic Acid (Dexapanthenol) - 30 mg
Folic Acid - 400 mcg

Good luck!

Re: Whats a good B Complex?

I take the Jarrow Formulas, B-Right. Its 100 Capsules
This is a great, all-around balanced B-complex with easily absorbed coenzymated nutrients. I especially like the increased doses of pantothenic acid, biotin, and B-12. And it really does have less of an odor!
Alot of the B vitamins have this bad odor,
The Jarrow doesn't have that odor.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate) 25 mg
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 25 mg
Vitamin B3 (Niacin) 25 mg
Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) 100 mg
Vitamin B5 (d-Calcium Pantothenate) 100 mg
Pantethine (Vitamin B5 derivative) 25 mg
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCL) 25 mg
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate) 10 mg
Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin) 100 mcg
Folic Acid (Folate) 400 mcg
Biotin 300 mcg
PABA (Para-Aminobenzoic Acid) 30 mg *
Choline Bitartrate 50 mg
Inositol 50 mg

Why is there PABA in it??? I thought PABA was bad? We were actually JUST talking about this in organic chem this morning...that there is a reason why sunscreens no longer have PABA!
