they reduced my body fat. big diff in my arms and belly. it reduces fat in the areas where there is more fat to "burn". but i wouldn't say its a fat burner. but it does reduce the fat.

Re: CLA Supplements

*******.... how long before you noticed a change? Was it a noticable change or did you see the change thru measurements? Did you notice any weird side effects? I just started taking them and I swear I have a harder time sleeping at night.

They are a Polyunsaturated fatty acid. They are Linoleic or an omega-6 with its fat molecules aligned a certain way (conjugated) hence the name ''Conjugated Linoleic Acid''. They basically work in the cell receptors to allow glucose to be taken from the blood stream so good for diabetics and help in burning fats inside the cells (fat loss).

Do they really help in weight loss ...not sure as there are studies showing it helps but at a small amount. I would rather trust a good diet and 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week as a better alternative but if they work for some then thats good to hear....

Re: CLA Supplements

I agree with 6foot3

His information was very informative.

Nothing beats diet and exercise!

But, if these pills help......why not

Re: CLA Supplements

Okay, I've been taking them for a week or so and I've dropped another pound (after being stuck at the same weight for weeks), but I'm breaking out (acne) now. Has anyone experienced this as a side effect? I don't know if it's worth the extra few pounds if I'm going to have problems with my complexion.

Re: CLA Supplements

I have never heard of CLA causing Acne but remember that CLA is an Omega-6 fatty acid so it could be producing high Arachodonic Acid levels which can produce Acne...
