Liquid Multi OK to Mix in Smoothie?

I bought the new liquid multivitamin from naturemade and the pill is gigantic! It's a full inch long, I can't believe they actually expect people to swallow these.

Does anyone know if it's OK to open the pill up (liquid inside gel-like outer capsule) and mix it in with something like a smoothie or applesauce?

Just a FYI ~ Replying to my own post here

I got an email form the manufacturer stating it is OK to open the liquid softgels and mix them with food.

I wouldn't see why not...although it sounds like alot of extra work. I have found that most multivitamins are on othe large side and I've never been one to really want to force them down.

My solution though is the powdered multivitamin from Doctor Greens <removed> -- you can then just scoop out what you need and put it on your cereal, oatmeal, smoothies etc.
