CoQ10 is another one of those "Vitamin D" type vitamins, where it wasn't originally intended to be ingested orally, but rather manufactured by the body. However, it will absorb. The big problem is that is does not survive stomach acid very well. I don't know any absorption rates, but I'd say most of it would be converted to something else in the stomach, but not all.

It is also lipid soluble, so if you did take it, it'd have to be with food.

I would also go with a Kaneka Ubiquinol rather than Ubiquinone
