| HAS ANYONE TAKEN Phendimetrazine?
My doc just put me on it 2 days ago,35mg. has anyone here taken it with success? I have only 11 lbs to lose and Atkins was not working at all, even with exercise. I am not even a "cheater",lol! The dr said because I really did not even need to lose weight, that was why,but phen.should help with a lo-cal diet.

hi - i tried it a couple months ago but i tried the 105 SR version (higher dosage but sustained release). and that version didn't really work for me. i've been thinking of trying the 35 mg version.
that's amazing your doctor would prescribe you meds with such a low amount of weight to lose, wow. are you taking it 3x/day? how far in advance do you take it before meals?

He told me to take 2 a day.One at noon and one around 4,but take it one hour before meals. The only thing is I do not wake up until after 12,so I at breakfast and take the pill around 2. IT really works,so much that I will not take the other pill,so I am taking one a day.

how long have you been taking it? how well has it worked?
does it suppress your appetite - i mean, can you tell the difference? and does it make it hard to get to sleep at night?

I just started it a few days ago. It really does seem to be working. I really don't think I could take anything stronger, like the 105mg. I have trouble sleeping anyway so I do not take the second pill like I should.

have you lost any weight already? i mean, weight you weren't able to lose before (w/the atkins, and exercise). i'm just wondering if it really does give the extra boost it promises....

HI! I have only been taking it 3days,so I can't honestly say if I have lost any weight as of yet, although ths scales are exactly 2lbs.less than they were on Monday,I am sure it is probabaly water weight. But I will take what I can get!!!I have been on the high protein, very low carb thing for almost 2 months.I walk on the treadmill 3omins. a day at leats 5 times a wek and i have not lost an ounce doing that.My dr.,who is a weight loss specialist, author of 10 books, says that people like myself with not much weight to lose, tend to have not much luck with high-protein diets, although he thinks it works well for a lot of people. I am 5'7 weight 136 and 2 1/2 of that is saline in my implants!! I am on a very resticted calorie program with the phen. and I am not even hungry!!

does your dr. have any more advice? what is the typical eating programs (and calories) he recommends to lose the weight?

Wow! We are almost the same size. You are right--my clothes look good and I fell so much better when I am around 125! We will do this together! I wish I could fax you a copy of his diet,it tells you what to eat for breakfast,lunch,dinner,etc...It is really written well. I know one girl who lost 110lbs.on it,she has a body to die for.I will try to put it here,breakfast-should be the biggest meal of the day he says. I eat 2 slices of canadian bacon and 2 fried eggs, cooked in pam.YOu are allowed 1 cup skim milk for your coffee or to drink alone.Also,1slice of diet bread. Lunch should be 5-6 hours later. Meat (grilled chicken, steak, etc, not fried)with a salad and vegetable (from the list he provides) Dinner should be a smaller meal,he says lean cuisines are fine.
