Re: hit my goal!

Thank you guys.

Well no diet pills for me, just a lot of determination/hard work.
motivation has alot to do with weight loss and the people around you/or the good people in these healthboards sure help too.

After I learn my different food groups, I started counting calories and exercising everyday, each day longer than the last until I had me a regular routine down.

oh yeah did I mention ''motivation?''...> my g/f tralvels out of town a lot/job and she (I guess) was my biggest motivation of all...she said N.W.L. = N.S.
(N.W.L.) means ''no weight loss''......(N.S.) means you guess it..''no sex''...
nah just kiddin... thats just a personal thing between us.
I did prove her wrong...if it was just 8 oz weight still weight loss, so I did'nt have to miss .

but yes it is a wonderful feeling to be back down to a decent weight
I feel better look better and I want to get them new blue jeans as soon as payday rolls around. I just have to keep on doing what I been doing, I don 't want my weight to slip back on me.

Re: hit my goal!

Congrats!! Now I know it's possible to reach my goal. I've been in a rut the last month, but I just have to bear down and get to the finish line. I can't wait to buy my new pants. Again, congrats and keep eating healthy and working out. You'll continue to feel good and look good.

Re: hit my goal!

How much did you lose grand total? I'm sure you have posted your goals before, but for us who have not been around very long, we'd like to know.
Good luck with your new future.

Re: hit my goal!

Congrats, Chevy, for doing it the RIGHT way! Just be careful not to eat that ice cream everyday cause you know what will happen.

Re: hit my goal!

Way to go ChevyMann! that is so awesome. You should be so proud of yourself. I hit my goal as well last night. I don't like to make my goal in pounds because I am gaining muscle while losing fat, so they almost contradict each other. My goal was a pair of jeans I haven't fit into in over 9 years and by golly, I zipped those suckers up last night! I also have lost 2 sizes in just 9 weeks...all on my own!
