confused

i lost weight after having my 2 children and over the winter only doing some excersises inside since it has been cold out so i cant walk outside much. i know over the holidays and other times i have been eating junk food and cakes and icecream etc. i still have been trying to eat healthy though and exercise and the scale has stayed the same. the weird thing is i am trying on my summer shorts from last year and it seems like i have a harder time getting them on and it seems like my butt is bigger. it is my time of the month too so maybe that's why they seem tighter but still it seems like my butt got bigger. my question is could my jeans get tighter even though the scale says i weight the same as i was?

Yes ma'am! That's one of the reasons we can't rely on the scale so much. You have to look at inches, not just pounds. For example, I can be a fit n' trim size 6 at 140 lbs. or I can be a 8/10 at the same weight when I am lazy and not working out for several months. Just depends on how much is muscle and how toned you are.

know all about it!!!! I only weigh 5 lbs more then before all the holidays. now my body feels like i've gained 10. My thighs are huge! I can't fit into my fav jeans. Unfortunatly we women turn cals into fat way more easier then men. Getting off the diet and exercise horse does a number on us. Just gotta buckle down, eat right exercise, and we'll get it off again. I've just been able to squeeze into those fav jeans after 2 weeks. Still a bit tight though LOL
