Questions about Adipex?

It's really nice that you care so much about her. Adipex is the brand name for Phentermine with is an appetite suppressant. I am on phentermine 37.5mg right now and it does wonders on my apetite. I do get hungry, but really never feel like eating much. It is pretty safe (as long as you take it as directed and have a doctor watch you), it's been around for 40+ years and it's the only effective medication that has helped me to lose weight.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, just be supportive and i'm sure everything will be okay

Thank you very much for your help....one thing that concerned me was that she is scheduled to go to the dr. every 2 weeks....but...I guess that is a good thing, so they can moniter her....my thinking was that it must be dangerous if they needed to see her so often...may I ask at what rate you are losing your weight.....she has lost 27 pounds in 3 weeks and that sounded like an awful lot to me...I worry that she is not eating enough..just overprotective, I guess..... thanks a bunch. ST

I lost about 7 pounds the first week and 2ish pounds after that. It really depends how overweight you are. She's probably lost a lot of water weight and it will slow down soon. The first time I was on phentermine I lost 13 pounds the first two weeks and I was about 180 pounds. So, it's probably normal.
