    LadyCatfish, why would salad count as protain? if you don't put cheese in it than it is not protain. We suppose to eat salads possibly with every meal. Veggies are very good for you I usually eat like piece of meat with salad for lunch (protein) and than like a veggie sandwich for dinner (carbs) or vise versa. And it seems to be working for me
    When I really want to snack in between, I'd rather snack on veggies, like bell pepper, or some fruit. Only if I snack on fruit, I can't eat anything else for couple of hours.
    One more thing. I found it helpful in the beginning. If I new that my next meal would be protains, than you can snack on nuts because they are protain

    When i was talking about salads as protien i was talking about when you go to wendys or mcd's and get a salad, most of them have chicken and bacon in them. With that added they become protien.
